The Spirit of

SDA

The Spirit of “人”

The human-like figure on the left forming the letter “S” embodies the meaning of “人” (Ren), representing our deeply held People-First Philosophy. It also represents “Skills”, where we believe that equipping Singaporeans with the right capabilities will enable them to create a better future.

The Path of Development 

The letter “D” cuts through a mountain to form the Path of Development. It reflects the belief that every journey of growth begins with a single step, and each step forward brings individuals closer to an improved version of themselves. As they continue to progress, the confidence, momentum and capabilities built will allow them to ultimately conquer the mountain.

The Mountain of Aspiration

We believe that for life to be meaningful, individuals must challenge themselves and find their own “mountain”: a goal that pushes them beyond their comfort zone. The climb is challenging, but the sense of fulfilment you feel when you conquer the mountain through the Path of Development is the ultimate reward.
